Potty Training Inspirations.

We got Molly a potty quite a while ago, though I can't remember exactly when. I just wanted to introduce her to it and see what she thought. Through a very slow process, she pretty much exclusively poops on the potty, which is great! We've had a lot of funny moments through the process, from running her to the potty while trying to get her pants/diaper off... and not making it, to Molly's cute quotes: "Get out poopoo, get out!"

After a few days of Molly's successful, if occasional, peeing in the potty, we got M&Ms for a reward. Boy was this a good idea! The next day, Molly was asking to go to the potty about every 10-15 minutes. Every time she sat down, she managed something. She gets one M&M after each time she goes and each and every time it seems to absolutely thrill her.

After a few successful days, Molly got to go to Wal-Mart and pick out some "big girl panties" last night. She picked out a package that had "Cinnerbella" panties and a couple of other princesses. She was hesitant to begin wearing them, but once she had them on this morning, she had a bit of a strut going on!

She'll still be wearing diapers at nap time, at night, and when we're out. She's not at all ready for the "big potty" even with her own potty set on top. But it's definitely a great beginning to being diaper free! Yay Molly!
